THE NATIONAL THEATRE

Pamela Nomvete returns to The National in the much anticipated COMEDY OF ERRORS with Lenny Henry from 30th November to 15th April 2012.

John Heffernan returns to The National as Hastings  in Jamie Lloyds production SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER 24th January to 15th April 2012.


 

WEST END

Alan David returns to the West End in Jez Butterworth's JERUSLAEM after their acclaimed Broadway run. This will play from 17th October until 14th January 2012.

Steve Nicolson plays Ted in The National Theatre’s WAR HORSE,based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo it runs until the end of the year at the New London theatre. http://warhorselondon.nationaltheatre.org.uk/

Sofia Escobar plays the lead role of Christine in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, playing at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Haymarket until September 2012

Beatie Edneyplays the role of the Queen with Madhav Sharma also staring as Dr Warren in Chris Luscombes’ production of ‘THE MADNESS OF GEORGE THIRD’ which transfers to the Apollo West End in January 2012.

LONDON

Sinead Matthews is beginning a series of International performances of Complicite Theatre Company’s THE MASTER AND MARGARITA, coming to London to the Barbican 15 March – 7 April 2012. Sinead plays the lead role of Margarita.

David Sturzaker and Joanna Christie star in BLOODY POETRY directed by Tom Littler at The Jermyn Street Theatre from 31st January to 25th February.

 

Cara Seymour stars in GIBRALTAR: An Adaptation after James Joyce’s Ulysses at the New Theatre, Temple Bar until 15th January.

Joely Richardson will be returning to the London stage this spring in LADY FROM THE SEA which opens at the Rose Theatre Kingston on 23th February – 17 March.

 

 REGIONAL

Sinead Matthews, Richard Goulding and Lucy Briggs-Owenpart of the brilliant cast THE WAY OF THE WORLD at Sheffield Crucible. Lyndsey Turner directs. Performances 2 – 25 February 2012

 

Catrin Stewart takes on the role of Juliet in Headlong Theatre Company’s ROMEO AND JULIET, which tours the UK in early 2012, until 7 April

ABROAD

Kim Cattrall takes the fantastic production of PRIVATE LIVES to Toronto and then Broadway until February 2012

 

Nicolas Tennant joins an International cast in the Lyric Hammersmith’s epic Simon Stephen’s project THE THREE KINGDOMS, which comes to the Lyric April 2012
